I designed the Rogue Valley Album Cover to be rotated. I did this to reflect the dual meaning of their music, which is to be a modern sounding band while also having deep roots in folk subjects. Therefore, the album viewed right-side up, depicts a vector of a nature scene of geese flying away from a tree.
Viewed upside-down the album gets a little more complicated. The left-hand side is a picture of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. The right-hand side is a view of a Rogue Valley Dam in Oregon during the 1900's. I put these images together to reinforce the idea of the duality of Rogue Valley's music. Rogue Valley currently resides in the new age hearth of music that is in the Twin Cities area. Thus the left-hand side represents their modern new age sound. However, the subject of their music, and the band's name, originates in Rogue Valley, Oregon, which is then what the right-hand side represents.
